1Our commitment
We review every listing before it goes live, never ask you for payment details and act on every report we receive. Safety is a shared responsibility, so this page explains both sides of it.
2Verified hosts and listings
Hosts confirm that they are entitled to rent out the court and that their photos, address and amenities are accurate. Listings with repeated complaints are suspended while we investigate.
3Paying safely
Kourt does not process payments and never asks for your card details, bank details or passwords. You pay the host directly, so only pay the amount shown on the listing and keep proof of payment. If someone claiming to be Kourt asks you for money, do not pay and report it.
4Keeping your account secure
Most incidents start with a compromised account. Protect yours:
- Use a password of at least 8 characters that you don't use anywhere else.
- Never share your login; invite your teammates to the game instead.
- We never ask for your password by email — if someone does, it isn't us.
- Sign out on shared devices, and change your password if you lose one.
5Stay on the platform
Keep bookings and messages on Kourt so there is a record of what was agreed. If a host asks you to pay more than the listing says or to arrange the game elsewhere, check with them through Kourt and report anything suspicious — deals made outside the platform have no booking record and no support from us.
6Playing safely
Before you play, take a minute for the basics:
- Warm up properly and stop if you feel pain or dizziness.
- Check the surface, nets, hoops and lighting, and report anything damaged.
- Outdoors, watch the heat and call the game off in a storm.
- Know where the first aid kit and the nearest exit are.
7Community standards
Everyone on Kourt is expected to play fair: show up on time, respect the facility and its rules, and treat other players, hosts and staff with respect. Harassment, discrimination and violence lead to immediate suspension.
8Reporting a problem
Report an unsafe court, a suspicious listing or another player's behaviour from Profile › Help & support, or by emailing safety@kourt.pro. Reports are confidential and reviewed within 24 hours.
9Emergencies
In an emergency, always call the emergency services first — 112 anywhere in Portugal and the rest of the EU. Tell us afterwards so we can follow up with the host and, where needed, take the listing down.
