This policy explains what personal data Kourt collects, why we process it, how long we keep it and the rights you have under the GDPR.

1Who we are

Kourt is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at privacy@kourt.pro for anything related to your data.

2Data we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service:

  • Account data: your name, email address, profile photo and account type.
  • Booking data: the courts you book, dates and number of players.
  • Usage data: pages viewed and searches made, collected only if you consent to analytics.
  • Support data: the messages you send us and the topic you choose.

4How we use your data

We use your data to create and secure your account, confirm and manage bookings, put players in touch with hosts, answer support requests, and — with your consent — improve the product and send you offers.

5Who we share data with

We share only what is necessary: the host of a court receives the booking details needed to host your game, and our hosting providers process data on our behalf under contract. We never sell your personal data.

6How long we keep your data

Account and booking data is kept while your account exists and erased when you delete it. Support messages are kept for two years.

7Your rights

Under the GDPR you can, at any time:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data directly in your profile.
  • Have your data erased, by deleting your account under Profile › Danger zone.
  • Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Object to or restrict processing based on our legitimate interests.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority (CNPD).

8Managing your consents

Optional processing — analytics, marketing emails and personalised recommendations — only happens with your consent. You can give or withdraw each consent at any time under Profile › Privacy & consents, and withdrawing it is as easy as giving it.

9Cookies

We use a small number of cookies. Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your language; analytics cookies are only set once you have given consent, and are removed when you withdraw it.

10International transfers

Your data is stored in the European Union. If a provider processes data outside the EU, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

11Contacting us about privacy

For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, write to privacy@kourt.pro. We reply within one month, as required by the GDPR.
